A Visit to Lake Cooper
Just a short 15-minute drive from Roslyn is Cooper Lake. Nestled within the Cascade Mountains, this 120-acre lake is a wonderful summer escape and the perfect spot to spend the day swimming, fishing, kayaking or just taking in the view. There is a convenient gravel parking area to pull up making a day at the lake a breeze. We suggest stopping by the Roslyn Grocery for premade sandwiches and salads to pack in your picnic.
Biking is a great way to explore Roslyn and the surrounding hiking trails. Ride Roslyn offers a variety of bikes, ready for you to rent including: gravel, hardtail mountain, full suspension, and fat bikes for all abilities and ages. They will also point you in the direction of all best riding spots in the area.
Hike to Red Top Lookout
Red Top Lookout, built in 1952, provides incredible 360-degree views of the Stuart Range, Teanaway Ridge, Chelan and Entiat Mountains, Mount Rainier, and even Mount Adams on a clear day. Roslyn Walking Tour
With historic coal mines, ethnic cemeteries, and the longest continuously running saloon in Washington, Roslyn has been, and is, a going place. Join long time museum docent and storyteller Dave Franklin on a walking tour of the town for historical facts, inside information, and good stories.
Not included in the tour is our historic cemetery, but this is a must-see for many visitors as it's a reflection of the rich ethnic mix that settled in Roslyn beginning prior to the turn of the last century.

Smell something delicious? Just follow your nose to Roslyn Yard where you'll find Juanita's street tacos set up and serving delicious tacos straight from the grill.
